Students attend our full or part time General English course and complete a SSI or PADI Open water dive course . The course consists of online study prior to a 3 day practical = 1 day in pool and 2 days at sea. Dive master, advanced open water, rescue diver and instructor courses are also available. Minimum language level required is pre-intermediate. Students may complete the online course in their own language.

Important – students must complete a medical questionnaire before the dive course. Students may be unable to dive if they have any of the following conditions; asthma, lung conditions, heart conditions, epilepsy, diabetes or any major medical conditions. A medical examination may be required in Byron Bay and the is cost $85. Students over 45 years of age must visit a doctor in Byron Bay prior to starting the course.

Timetable English Lessons: 8.45*am – 10.15am | 10.30am – 12.00pm | 12.45pm – 2.15pm
* In busy Summer periods (September -> March), classes may start at 8.30am, 9.30am, 1.00pm or 3.00pm.

Timetable Dive Lessons: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8.00am – 3.00pm*
* Weather conditions may cause variations in the diving timetable.

Start Dates: Students can start a diving course on the first or second Friday of their full or part time General English course. Students must understand that they will miss one Friday of their English course while they do their dive course. Please refer to the start dates of our General English courses.
