Cambridge examinations provide successful students with an internationally recognised certificate of English Language proficiency. Our course prepares students for the FCE, CAE and CPE Cambridge Examinations held each year in March, June, August and December. Lessons cover a variety of topic-based language suited to ‘real life’ situations which students can use outside the classroom. The course focuses on exam techniques for reading, writing, listening, speaking and the use of English, including regular practice exams.

Important: Students are expected to be motivated to pass the Cambridge exam. Cambridge courses require active participation and consistent class attendance, as well as regular homework completion.

CPE Boost – CPE students join a Cambridge CAE each morning with afternoon dedicated CPE preparation classes at cost. See CPE Boost Information.

Pre-test: Students who wish to enrol for Cambridge courses must complete a pre-test. Please download a copy or contact BBELS – info@bbels.com.au. The results of your examination will determine your suitability to take this course.

Timetable: 8.45*am – 10.25am | 10.40am – 12.20pm | 1.05pm – 2.15pm
*In busy Summer periods (September -> March), classes may start at 8.30am. In 1 week of November, your class may start at 12pm – 1 week of practice examinations.
* CAE classes are conducted separately to FCE classes. In March FCE and CAE may be combined if student numbers are low.
